History

Dean & Partners, Attorneys at Law was founded in 2012 by Dean Chou. Upholding the principle of legal integrity, the firm combines its legal team’s years of experience across various industries to effectively solve the civil and criminal disputes commonly encountered by companies. Dean Chou specializes in areas including corporate law, family estate planning, corporate governance litigation, shareholder and board regulations, securities law, insider trading, banking law, commercial disputes, employee fraud, arbitration and negotiation, and corporate compliance.

Dean Chou, managing partner of Dean & Partners, serves as a legal advisor to the Taipei City Government and the Legal Aid Foundation. Dean Chou also regularly provides legal services to disadvantaged single-parent families supported by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families, fulfilling the social responsibilities expected of legal professionals.

Listed and pre-IPO companies face legal challenges beyond corporate law, such as the compliance of securities and exchange law . Dean & Partners provides advisory service for fundraising, trusts, and public issuance of securities. We also assist listed and pre-IPO companies in adhere to the corporate governance laws and regulations and provide comprehensive legal service as well.

Since 2013, the Securities and Futures Bureau has required listed companies to not only to disclose public information on websites, but also to include corporate governance' in their assessment. Companies ranking high in governance assessment have seen their market values increase by approximately 3-5%. We could help companies achieve corporate governance assessments and provide related legal services.
